What you’ll be doing:
JumpCloud is looking for a talented Backend Engineer to be an embedded member within our Partnership Team with a focus in integrating various third-party applications. The team’s mission is to build product integrations with third-party partners to deliver value to our customers. You’ll be focused on building and modifying backend services required to facilitate integrations with our partners.

We’re looking for...

  • 10+ years of industry/production programming experience.
  • Experienced in mentoring others to become more effective software engineers and collaborating across teams.
  • Skilled in backend service development using Golang. NodeJS experience is a plus.
  • Experience in database development, including relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience or willingness to learn test automation development, including unit tests and BDD automated acceptance tests. Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to be productive in a collaborative cross-functional team using Agile/Scrum.

Bonus if you have the following:

  • Experience integrating third-party products.
  • Experience developing large-scale web applications, SaaS applications in the cloud (AWS a plus) or large, distributed systems.
  • Interested in learning web app frontend development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), ideally using Vue.js framework, or other frameworks with a desire to learn Vue.js.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Comp Sci, or equivalent training / experience.

This role is remote in the country of Mexico. You must be located in and authorized to work in Mexico to be considered for this role.
